About Us

Play, curiosity, and care — every day.

At Ladera Ranch Daycare, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and discovering the world at their own pace. Our bilingual program (English and Spanish) nurtures each child’s natural curiosity from infancy through the preschool years.

We encourage independence in a warm, safe environment, helping children build confidence, social skills, and critical thinking — the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. With our own bilingual curriculum, we blend structure and free play so every child can grow at their own pace, surrounded by care and personalized attention.

Our Curriculum

A rich, bilingual rhythm of discovery.

We believe in the power of early childhood education to set our children on a path to lifelong success. That's why we developed our own bilingual curriculum (Spanish/English), designed to engage children through play, hands-on activities, and guided exploration at every stage of development.

Each day includes reading, music, movement, art, and structured learning — plus two new American Sign Language signs each month. Our themes rotate throughout the year, giving children a rich and consistent rhythm of discovery.

Our mixed age group (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) provides a unique opportunity for children to learn from one another and develop a sense of family with their classmates. Our children become a “Learning Family” who support, help, and care for each other — building the confidence and skills to thrive in school and beyond.

Our Philosophy

Every child has the potential to grow.

At Ladera Ranch Daycare, we believe every child has the potential to learn and grow, and that it is our responsibility to give them the tools and opportunities to do so. We create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages exploration, experimentation, and risk-taking.

We partner with families to create a seamless experience for children as they move between home and daycare — helping set our children on a path to lifelong success.

Family Child Care vs. Facility Child Care

A home, not an institution.

When it comes to choosing the right daycare for your child, one of the most important decisions is whether to choose a family daycare or a facility daycare. Family daycares offer a home-like environment that can be more comfortable and reassuring for young children — run out of the provider's own home, helping children feel secure and familiar with their surroundings.

Family daycare providers also typically have smaller group sizes, meaning more one-on-one attention for each child — especially important for infants and toddlers. With smaller group sizes, personalized attention, greater flexibility, and lower costs, family daycares offer many advantages over facility daycares.
